They actually send bees in the mail. They send the queen and the others come.

Well they do send queen's in the mail, you've got that right. Not sure about "and the others come" lol.

Yeah, I may be wrong about the latter half of the statement. That's just what someone told me

Yeah, it won't work like that. You can get just a queen to put into an established hive, but a whole hive won't just show up once you've got a queen. You can however order a package of bees which will come with a queen and about 3 lbs of bees.

They did this because they actually ask are you sending bees? Lol it’s legit my favorite question when sending mail. But I get it you don’t want to send it with someone who is allergic.

You also want the people handling the mail to know that there is a live creature in the package. Plus, my post office will call me if they get bees so that I can get it asap and don't have to wait for the mailman.
