Parallel Earths created as a result of the Flashpoint/Infinite Crisis events respectively (basically continuity reset events). Both are set 50 years into the future, and feature (mostly) new incarnations of present superheroes. The difference between them is that one has a hyphen in its name and one doesn't. Pictured above clockwise are: the new Green Lantern (Kai-Ro), Warhawk (the son of one of the older Green Lanterns - John Stewart - and Hawkgirl), Aquagirl (daughter of Aquaman), future Flash (Danica Williams), Micron, Big Barda (an OG), the new Batman (Terry McGinnis, biological son of Bruce Wayne) and OG Superman (just...older). And yes, this is the Earth on which the "Batman Beyond" series is set. Interestingly, the animated series inspired the comic version. Usually it's the other way around. (Now that's some planning for the future, isn't it?)
In Batman Beyond, Terry isn't Bruce's son though. If I remember correctly, he was just some punk kid that stumbled upon the bat cave and Bruce used him like he did the Robins.
Technically you're right. However, it was revealed in a Justice League Unlimited episode ("Epilogue", I believe) that Terry is indeed Bruce's biological son. And I don't think Terry would appreciate being compared to the Robins, or the suggestion that he was being used.
