so the fastest I've ever gone in a car was with a friend in his straight 6 z-280 down a long long hill between two towns. Had we crashed they'd barely have enough of both of us for a shoebox. The odometer pegged at 160, so it was somewhere above that.

Fastest I've ever gone on a public road was 200 km/h. In Germany of course, and completely legal. Even on an almost deserted Autobahn, this feels very fast.
