At this company I worked at a while back I was often told my emails are too stiff. Which is an understandable critique and I am aware that I'm really "no bs, no fluff, straight to the point" in my communication but tbh I simply can't do this fake interest small talk crap, let alone that "how do you do, fellow kids?" stuff that so many companies are doing nowadays. Idk if I'm old fashioned or the opposite, too much of a zoomer to fall for that cringy crap, but I just can't stand the fakeness.
