when I was in DC i started giving my leftovers to homeless people, which is technically illegal, but fuck da police.

My grandmother runs a mini charity organization, so as a kid my siblings and I used to help set up the grocery packs to give away... The one day my gran took a pack and gave it to this lady. My gran would list whats inside and ask if there is any additions to see if the packs could be improved at all.... She was near tears and said thank you for the peanut butter, her kids are going to be so excited because they havent been able to have a treat in months... I cried when I was finally alone, thinking I don't eat the stuff but families out there consider it a rare treat..
