For once, I agree with @famousone. It sucks, because Cosby deserves to burn in hell for what he did, but when a prosecutor fucks up as badly as that one did, the hands of the law are tied. However, I will also stump to the ends of the earth to legalize weed at all levels in this country. For multiple reasons. First off, because it allows police to have more time to respond to more serious crimes, and secondly, the taxes on the sales of marijuana products could be worth tens of billions of dollars to state governments.
Agreed. Though I'm not worried about the tax gain so much as I don't feel the feds should have authority over many domestic issues outside of broken contracts and actual harm.
If we can keep Cosby locked up because "He clearly did it!", nevermind due process and civil rights, then what is the point of having a legal system? Why not just lynch people like the good old days. Have mobs dress in the same clothes and go after the obvious bad guy. Maybe white hoods, or brown shirts? Black masks even?
Or. Accept we have a system that considers it preferable for the guilty to walk instead of the innocent hanging.
oh don't get me wrong the other way either; cosby deserves to be blasted. Being nearly blind does not mean he didn't know what the hell he was doing when he did it.
Legalise Marijuana. Why? Because if it becomes legal then big corporations would be all over it and the government would be able to tax the hell out of it for revenue. They'd no longer have reasons to fight against it. It would be like trying to bring back the Prohibition and banning alcohol. We can call it Operation Pothole and use the tax money from legalising weed to fix potholes in roads. Win win all round.
nah legalizing means I just grow my own outside; already have the seeds for it; and from my experience in norcal I know exactly how.... the only issues then are other peeps pickin my crops or a catastrophic weather event; both very real possibilities
