I damn well don't want to be treated by someone that isn't vaccinated. If you don't want to be vaccinated that's all fine and good, don't do it, but if you're in a medical profession, you're a threat.
So you're worried that the vaccine won't actually protect people?
And on top of that, you're not at all concerned over why licensed, trained, and experienced medical professionals (which we're apparently suffering a shortage from without laying them off en mass) are willing to risk their expensive livelihoods to refuse?
One vaccine=protection. Two vaccines=better protection. It's unlikely you'll get a breakthrough infection. It's incredibly unlikely two people will get a breakthrough infection. As far as I'm concerned, we should be treating this like smallpox or polio. And, not to be rude, there's literally nothing, not a thing in the world, you could say to change that opinion, so let's just agree to disagree here instead of going back and forth all day.
This isn't smallpox or polio. You treat things as what they are, not what the hystericals try to equate it to.
And your information is outdated. It is fact, not opinion, that the vaccinated are still being infected, and that mutations will keep happening and have already happened. This is not the first corona virus
not to get involved, but he said it was protection, not a cure
is it perfect? no. not in the slightest
does it help? yes, it does
same with masks and social distancing
perfect? no
a cure? no
protection? yes
combine them all and you have very good protection, but not a cure
people should get vaccinated, but you also shouldnt FORCE them to be vaccinated
it should be encouraged however
and masks+distancing should 100% be enforced, its simple and very effective
@memesgobrrr I don't know where you're from, but this part (which is irrelevant to the op but that's ok) has me intrigued: "masks+distancing should 100% be enforced"
Here in the UK the Office for National Statistics estimates that approximately 95% of adults have covid antibodies, through vaccination and/or recovering from previous infection
Would you support the part of your statement I've highlighted here with antibody levels as they are?
im in america, which is why i said the part about the masks because nobody is fucking vaccinating themselves so wearing a mask is neccassary if you want some protection
