I've told multiple people this, especially those trying to figure out "what they want to do with their life." A HUGE part of job satisfaction is not what you are doing, but who you are doing it with.

It's not so much about loving your co-workers, it's more about not to hate them too much.

@nelson Both can matter. I love what I do, but have disliked certain places I worked because the people made it intolerable. Also, you can have a job that might not be your passion, but if you do it with people that you love to be around, you can find it very satisfying. Does that make sense?

I’ll have to take your word for it. Some of the people I work with are absolute non-persons, but the work is good, and that more than makes up for it

Same goes for school and teachers. I truly wonder how many people could've been Nobel prize winning scientists if only they didn't have asshole teachers.
