A woman was toppled and run over by a horse. She was reported as being killed which was incorrect - she wasn't killed. Just injured.

Ottawa police lied about the incident, pretended it never happened, and then assured us that no one was injured at any point despite numerous footage to the contrary
They did report that they had heard she died. I don't know that they said she died for certain. They corrected it the next day saying she had not died

Make no mistake, I have criticized how some departments treat people for nearly a decade now. Even advocated for and supported violence against some of the most egregious.
