Technically, under ATF definitions, those pistols are now short barreled rifles (SBR), and are now illegal to have unless you pay a poll tax and wait 6 months to 3 years for approval.

Don't worry though. After you go through the trouble, they'll burn children alive and shoot your dogs on national television when they change the rules on a whim and use the registration to track you down.
