It comes and goes in an out. I think one of the major things that kept it from trending despite minor attempts to revive it over the past few decades has been that the rich and famous haven’t embraced the style. You need the trend setters to adopt the bankruptcy barrel for it to be fashionable. Most of the times it’s tries to come back, at least since the 1980’s- the bankruptcy barrel largely missed the rich and famous and was only worn by regular folks so no one really paid it much attention beyond passing mentions.
