Okay, but the brighter light consumes more power (watt hours) than the larger one, and the larger has more batteries and thus will outlast the smaller one several times over.

True, it's possible that the larger one uses a lightbulb. If so, then they might last about as long.

Yes, but we all know that, when the batteries die, ONE will still have its uses and the little one will sit in a drawer watching.
