This is both really gross and also sort of not?
Like- if these are Canadian dollars- Combo 2 works out to like $41. Let’s say standard “day out” prices are $5-6 a drink- so two drinks on the low end is $10, and let’s say chips low end are $1 a bag- though concession prices are usually $2-4 a bag- but let’s go low. So chips are $2. that’s $14.50 a burger which is about what you’d expect to pay at a restaurant or actual burger place for a burger. Or if we split it even in half that’s a “burger combo” for $20.50 a person- which isn’t cheap but it is not too far off from what many fast food chains charge.
It’s gross because it’s still a lot of money, tickets were probably a lot of money, chances are you can only get food from the venue so you don’t have a cheaper choice, and I’ve never had food there but my experience with concession food is it usually is below restaurant quality and portions and often below fast food even. If that’s USD…
..that’s almost enough to get a steak dinner for 2- often a “three course” steak dinner for 2 with unlimited bread at a chain eatery. But eating out has gone up across the board. It makes me feel bad for young people but especially for families- I can imagine taking kids to get fast food and spending $60+ for some Mcmeal.
This is Combo No. 5!
