All my life I've heard that UFO sightings are usually just Venus, but I always dismissed it as people couldn't possibly be that dumb. This summer Venus and Mercury hung beautifully in the sky for a month and emergency services had to make a public announcement, because people kept calling about the wierd drones hovering silently over their house. facepalm.jpeg

College town (in TX, of course) every fall the first rain storm results in 90% increase in vehicle accidents as the students learn to drive in "not perfect conditions" again.
