Im a Christian but I believe you love the sinner and hate the sin. Some of my lifelong friends have been gay- I may not agree with their life choice, but it's not mine to make and I respect that. They may also not like mine. That's chill. Who cares. I think George Takei is clever and the people above are very ignorant savages. Yeah anyway... Just my little rant :p

I like the way you think, girly. Being Christian does not mean you have to hate gays or gay marriage. On the contrary, Jesus said "love one another as I have loved you." He put no stipulations on the circumstances of who is worthy of your love.

I agree with Rachel. I'm a Christian as well and all these stupid people that hate gays are annoying. It makes the rest of us Christians look bad. I may not agree with their decision, but I'm not going to persecute them for it. Like she said, love the sinner, hate the sin. I'm sure it would be totally different if it were reversed and gays were hating Christians. How would they feel about that? People can be extremely annoying sometimes.

Amen guys! It's people like you who help keep my hopes alive. Sometimes I get so sad about how people in the world are acting nowadays. It's painful. But I know we small population will keep the love going! Woohoo!

i supported gays and lesbians before i've became bi...and what if i now believe in god more than before.? why i can't love god and also my wife?

I go to a Catholic school and half my friends have had days where they decided they were either gay or bi (I'm not sure if they still are, though). And these are the kind of friends who I don't even know if they were kidding or not. There's this one kid (who is a boy), who last year acted insanely gay (stereotypical gay) for a day, and this year, there was a day when he put star stickers on his ears and we all said he looked like a "40-year-old lesbian". Another guy is obsessed with thigh gaps. And we all laugh along with them. They aren't even frowned upon by the teachers!

I think he's just making fun at ow trivial their reasons are. i feel if you are against gay marriage...cool...then don't be gay and don't get married to the same gender. but why hinder someone else's life choice. if u feel so strongly that its wrong and against God then don't sweat it. if your right He won't let them into heaven. just chill. Just my thought. :)

Besides the criminalization of Christianity if gay marriage were to become law (even with its transgressions on the first amendment rights of freedom of religion for Christians)

Essentially the practice of Christianity will become a hate crime because their religious stance will be deemed as discriminative hope that helped

thank you...it did. I can understand the looming fear but MOST want tolerance of everyone's views/choice of life-style. I don't think that will happen. Once blacks were de-segregated, it was not a crime to be white or use the n-word.

His comments are just as ridiculous as their reasons. They are born from a mother and a father, but also many children are grown up in lovely homes better than in an orphanage.
