As a person who's first language is French, I think you might have meant "à la carte". Not trying to be mean, just thought it would be nice for you and others to know :)
It's like that in Iowa, too. At least in the catholic schools where I live. I take hot lunch every day and love it. I never understood when anyone else said something about how there lunch was terrible.
You're all right. I haven't. I would think that was implied when I stated I didn't understand people who said their school lunches were/are terrible. Thanks for stating what I could have found out from pretty much anywhere! (Which I have)
Ahahaha you lucky fucking bastard
The private catholic school I went to ordered their lunches from the same people/through the public schools (not quite sure) so our hot lunches were shit. I remember a teacher mistaking the disgusting "sweet potatoes" as carrots...

I think our school lunch is pretty good. everyone hates it and says it looks like puke. Does caviar look like puke? Yes. Does it taste good? Yes
I live there and you can get whatever the fuck you want but you HAVE to take a fruit. And it's never like peaches or apples it's like some mutant pineorange banana shit you'll never eat. But they charge 2x the regular price on unhealthy stuff.
A church across the street offers us free lunch one day a week, and one time i forgot to go, and at school they gave us chicken, but told us not to eat it because it wasn't fully cooked.
You fucking idiot, chickens are supposed to have veins. What do you expect them to do? Pick each individual vein, sinew, and nerve out of each chicken wing?
I actually grew up in Minnesota myself. I remember that chicken/gravy/mashed potatoes stuff was actually GOOD! Tasted great. Also those rolls weren't half bad either. I miss Minnesota. Mall of America, too. :(
this is a lie. Go to Edina High school they serve the most unhealthiest food on the planet. Healthy food is more expensive and it still really isn't healthy, it's like dried expired shit and it is nasty.
Did you just complain about eating papa johns? REAL PAPA JOHNS? WITH REAL GREASE AND FAT?

In Australia, we do not have food for cheaper than $3 for a sausage roll/pie and there are no meals at least anywhere near that standard. Live life 'Murica!
That looks really good. When I was in first grade in Salida, Colorado they had pretty good food I think but I don't remember that well if it actually was or if it was healthy since it was a long time ago. Then when we moved here we changed schools and this school doesn't have a cafeteria and they don't give us lunch so we have to bring it and eat outside. Or atleast we did. Now we go to school online
I live in Australia and I don't know any schools that serve you lunch. But we have a cafeteria that you can buy food from and they have really nice food there. ^_^
People COMPLAIN? That looks like heaven compared to other nasty school lunches. Of course I guess that a lot of other people would say something a long the same lines about regular school lunches... Anyway. Doesn't it seem odd to anyone else that schools promote healthy eating and staying fit and yet they have those horrible school lunches? (Minus Minnesota apparently :P)
I go to school in MN and I promise you none of my meals in high school looked like this. On a good day we would get the mashed potatoes and gravy(which is actually fucking delicious) and you could get a dried up carrot from the 'salad bar.' Where ever this school is, those kids better not bitch
