Yes, those people are horrible, but it's not our decision if they continue to live or not. Doing that would be just like what they did. No matter haw horrible they are, they are still people, and what we should seek for is justice, not revenge. Which is the difference? Justice would be to throw this people to a jail for the rest of their lives to think about what they did and to make sure they don't hurt someone else. Revenge is "i'm gonna kill them cause they killed, so let them know how that feels like". That's just as wrong as what they did. We do not have the authority to decide who lives and who doesn't. Just like they didn't had.
I don't think during a war you can very successfully capture and jail all of your enemies. It's not like they're gonna let themselves be captured and put on trial.
If you kill people who are criminals, killers, you're becoming a criminal and a killer just like him. A human shouldn't decide when another human dies...
So you would rather have convicted murderers wasting the tax-payers' money sitting in prison for the rest of their lives, getting all their needs taken care of without having to lift a finger, getting cable TV, free healthcare, and free meals three times a day? I'd personally rather have them get the death penalty and be out of the way so that money can be spent on important things like education, instead of useless members of society like murderers.
the death penalty still doesn't do any good. Everyone has the right to live. Even if you have made some awful mistakes, you are a human being and you have the right to be here. No one can take away that right.
Peter Parker: Flint Marko. The man who killed Uncle Ben, he was killed last night.
Aunt May: Oh, my. What happened?
Peter Parker: Spider-Man killed him.
Aunt May: Spider-Man? I don't understand, Spider-Man doesn't kill people. What happened?
Peter Parker: I, uh... He... he was... I thought that - That you'd feel... He deserved it, didn't he?
Aunt May: I don't think it's for us to say whether a person deserves to live or die.
Peter Parker: But, Aunt May, he killed Uncle Ben.
Aunt May: Uncle Ben meant the world to us. But he wouldn't want us living one second with revenge in our hearts. It's like a poison. It can - It can take you over. Before you know it, turn us into something ugly.
