Okay so this is random but when me and my sister were little my grandma got us remote control spiders that were like a foot long each and I was scared to death of it. I wouldn't touch it at all so my mom let my sister have it and she have them baths in the bathroom sink (she had a fetish for playing the bathroom sink when no one was around) and since they got wet they wouldn't work anymore. I still hate spiders but those remote control spiders were awesome.
