I care because I care about the animals and the planet. I don't force it on people, but it hurts thinking about the animals that continue to suffer because people can't give up a cheeseburger.

If animals weren't meant to be eaten, why are they so tasty and full of protein?

You realize without us eating meat and drinking milk cows would most likely go extinct right?

They existed before without human interference. Yes, the domestic cow would eventually die out. Their wild cousins, however, would continue. Better they lead full lives but die out than be tortured and have their lives ended early because of our tastebuds.

And we would lose their delicious insides :'(

Plants can be delicious, too. A creature shouldn't suffer just because they taste good.

I've never heard a plant be described as "sweet and juicy its making my mouth water". Plus, you're saying milk is bad, if im not mistaken vegans wont drink milk. Cereal would be shit. Couldn't have cake or ice cream. How the hell would an American properly celebrate thanksgiving?

There are vegan versions of everything and many of them are quite good. Besides, are you saying your tastebuds are more important than a living creature?
