Yeah, but Veronica Roth worked with the producers and directors of Divergent, but they cut out a character, a character that everybody loved, too. We can just hope for the best, right?
John Green was there at the filming and he said it was as accurate as possible, so there's hope. Also, there is a scene that has been released already, and it is word for word with the book.
I borrowed this book from the library to read. There was one specific part that made me cry and I noticed tear stains from someone else. It was a sense of 'I'm not alone in this'.
I was reading this book in my room while I was visiting my parents who were skyping with my aunts and uncles. I was drowning in my tears and my parents kept on calling me over to talk to them and they all thought I was going through some sort of mental breakdown.
People keep saying how sad this book is, like its the worst. I was expecting it to be terribly sad, and it was. It just wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. It's not like a book like this hasn't been written before. It's a really good book, I just don't understand why everyone is making it seem like it's the saddest book in history.
Well, I felt the same way when I read it too. But, then again, everybody made Twilight look like it was the worst book written, when it was a good book. It's just exaggeration, and again, people feel differently about different things, it just depends, I guess.
It's an amazing book, and I'm both excited and not excited to see it be converted to a movie, simply because a lot of the time the movies don't have everything the books have and for this book, it NEEDS to.
If you are going to read this you are going to need a big pack of klennex
Try not to cry
Cry a lot
I loved the book, I'm definitely going to love the movie! :)
