It's not shaming, it's about health. The fat acceptance movement is full of people in denial of their condition, they think that being obese is actually just as healthy as being normal weight (and that doctors are all liars)

It's not about what it is, it's about what it represents, and it's not about whether you can, it's about whether you should. Sure you can piss on your flag, but is it really respectful to the people who died protecting it?

Fact is though, it's not compulsary, it's just a tradition that's harming no one. If you don't do it, that's fine and no one will bother you about it.
