My parents just bitched on the drive to something allegedly fun, we didn't spend any time enjoying ourselves there, and drove back, so I honestly envy you.

The folly of social media is that it has given equal volume to the voice of the stupid.

If we're in problem solving mode, we'll make sure parents guide their children towards healthy eating/cooking habits. It then narrows down to impulse/instant gratification issues.
There's a balance to strike, I feel, and it involves teaching one's children healthy habits, and not letting them walk all over you.

The Mustang.
The Taurus died long ago. (edited for donation clarification)
The fun thing is that the Mustang actually deserves a rebuild. It's engine has been stout since the mid 80s. Time for upgrades. :D

I am the parent of a "picky eater", who often wants to avoid dinner partially or in total so that they can skip to dessert.
Children cannot responsibly regulate their caloric intake, let alone choose healthy foods over junk foods.
Nice study and all, but the issue is a bit more complicated, and not necessarily the same for every family. I would say that it's not an issue of overeating, but of parents trying to convince their children to eat healthy food.

Check it out. It's you and a rando guest lashing out at outsiders, instead of indulging in a moment of introspection. ;)

I've been seeing "title" in the title more often lately.
I'm a bit concerned that that sort of thing might wear out it's humour welcome in a decade or three.
