The same amount of people are trying to make history these days as in the past. We just don't see them because there have never been many, at least not as adults, and everyone else just wants to make an honest living.

If sexuality were a choice, I would have chosen to be straight instead of having rocks thrown at me in third grade for mentioning a crush on another girl. I would have chosen to be straight instead of getting looks of disgust for walking down the street holding hands with my girlfriend. I would have chosen to be straight instead of putting myself in danger every fucking day. If it were a choice, there would not be any gay people because of basic self-preservation instinct.

I plan to go to the next midnight Magic: The Gathering midnight prerelease if I can. I know it's a little different, but when I went to my last (non-midnight) prerelease I was the only girl there.
