You can't talk about ripping your heart out without mentioning Clannad+Clannad After Story!! If you haven't watched it but need some desperation in your life, I definitely recommend it. (Slow burn, innocent and annoying at first, soul crushing in the last episodes)

I'm not hating at all, I'm a big fan of anime myself! Which is why I know it's not really "innocent", as in "innocent mind" (even though of course it's innocent enough as opposed to "guilty").

The problem doesn't even come from the tourists, even the non-touristic parts are dirty as fuck. There's just too much people, convinced they don't have enough time to do anything even saying sorry when they step on your foot. Same goes for my hometown Brest, it's dirty and people are bitches. But yeah a lot of other cities are nice. I especially love the eastern part (Nancy, Strasbourg, Colmar...) and in Brittany Quimper (where I currently live) is really cute, civilised, nice and pretty.
