I'm almost always on the internet, and when I'm not I'm either reading, writing or serving my furry master (the one pictured, I'm not THAT weird).

But you can't randomly hug children and whisper "it's not your fault".

Yeah I did! I spent one year studying math in a preparatory school (aka melting pens and sleeping in class), then got a bachelor's degree in geology and a master's degree in paleontology, then a year of unemployment and so I took back studies in history of art and cultural, architectural, historical and natural heritage. (yay that's the first time someone says I'm mysterious!)
And yesterday I typed "geologists" in google search bar and it suggested "geologists make the bedrock", so that's a good argument to enroll^^

I used to do that too when I was studying geology! My work partner was so defeated sometimes^^ And we called the smaller rocks we had to take as samples "the babies", and gave a name to each. All the other kids thought we were crazy.
calvinoot, the rock you describe sounds really amazing!

I don't know, it's definitely a mom show, but it's sweet (except the rape episode, which my mom saw once in the 80's and would never watch again, so I haven't seen it either). It's based on a series of books where a woman describes her life as a child in a small village during the 1870's - 80's. The characters are interesting, the plot of the episodes are nice and there are a lot of funny moments, but let's say I would watch it on TV in the afternoon, not as an evening movie. I suck at describing shows and movies^^
Here's the link to the wikipedia article if you want to learn more : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_House_on_the_Prairie_(TV_series)
PS : yissss Tintin rocks!

That concept is for weaklings anyways, to me an individual dessert should be a family-sized dessert that you eat alone (after eating your entire family).

Not a movie but when I was 13 I got mono (no, not from kissing, just pure bad luck) and stayed home for 4 months. Every day we would watch 2 to 3 episodes of the Little House in the Prairie with my mom, comfortably wrapped in a blanket, my head on her shoulder, like there were no worries in the world. I'll always cherish these moments, when I'm sick or down I still enjoy watching an episode (even though it kinda sucks and it's 10x better when we watch it together).

I second this! (If it's never applied then it doesn't matter, but if it does I'll be able to say I was there at the very beginning of a new era and that's really cool)

My life in one picture and a bottled up trauma! (nah just kidding I've dealt with the trauma)
Edit bc of guest's comment : 1. it's relatable, so I'm relating, and 2. there are a lot of kind people here who would comment about the trauma so I prefer being honest.
(3. I wasn't the one who downvoted said comment.)

Oh that adrenaline rush we had as kids when we would just whisper or write the forbidden words, and then the other, scary rush when we were about to be discovered and oh no our parents were going to know that we were actually tiny humans learning about life like everyone before us, including themselves... That was so long ago x)
