I'm almost always on the internet, and when I'm not I'm either reading, writing or serving my furry master (the one pictured, I'm not THAT weird).

MaAiO, Milan: a museum without objects dedicated to lost art 1 comments
purplepumpkin · 6 years ago
It's a real museum in a XVIth century building, but you visit it in virtual reality. This way, you see artworks that have been stolen and lost, or destructed. Kind of like seing not the art but the memory of it.
Surprisingly, there are a few museums or at least exhibits out there that have no objects in it, whether they're dedicated to music, odors... Very fond of the concept.

The lady wears it better. Really fond of the concept, I wonder if I could pull it off.

I thought it was funny when you considered Trump, now I'm scared and I beg American pop celebrities to stop considering the world is a big toy.

Intergalactic man holes 8 comments

It comes right in the face of an alien, and also destroys a lot of the planet around him. But life goes on. Tens of millions years later, another alien species find some clues of what happened, but the manhole has disappeared upon impact. Life goes on. One day, this new species sets a camera to record a nuclear explosion...

Found an old Spirograph and used it to make a hummingbird 4 comments

It's a game from the 70's, you have circles that look like hollowed out gears, and smaller ones who have a hole in the middle for the tip of a pen. You put the pen in the hole and follow the edge of the big gear with the smaller one, it ends up making beautiful geometric patterns. And there are different forms of gears too so you get different designs. My explanation kinda sucks, I suggest you look up a pic online.

Come on guys it can be awesome. Sure you have obligations, but remember as a little kid when people ordered you around and told embarrassing stuff about you and you had zero control over your own life?
Well now you can do almost everything. You can go climb a tree, spend 2$ on paint and paint with your fingers, sing, invent a dish, you can randomly start learning Finnish, or just do nothing for an hour.
Sure, having to get a job is stressful and paying rent, bills, groceries, and the occasional health / legal problem are heavy but everything comes with a price and you can treat your future self like a little kid if you need to. Make them a fort and bake them cookies.

The person who took the pic put a big risk on him. Always destroy the evidence when doing something that could bring you negative consequences.

That reminds me a convo I had with a guy "I like handball, I've been practicing at least once a week for a few years. (me)-Oh you must be really good! -No I suck but I like it." He was completely serious, not trying to joke nor complain. He had a strikingly positive attitude towards everything, changed my outlook on quite a few things.

Nah I have more of an academical point of view on the matter. I like to know what's going on and analyze shit, acting like that makes me somehow competent in a relevant way.

Weird usually when people are in the closet the result is NOT babies. And this cat is great at hiding something from her parents!
