I’ve heard the “bento” menu referred to as a “waffle” menu. Why are they all food?

The point of the piece (I believe) is to point out how absurd and hurtful these types of comments are. And there are a lot of people saying these sorts of things to people who may be transitioning.
So, I don’t believe this is really how people feel and think. It’s sorta Just pointing out how wrong this way of thinking is.

I think it’s moss growing on that moss. That little “tree” looks like club moss—often described as looking like little trees.

I remember finding wild scallions. I was so excited. I found food. So I picked a bunch of scallions and put them in the fridge —so there was food in the fridge (scallions). Not so much a meal, I guess, but I was 7.
Now, when I was 18, living on my own, my struggle meal was bagels. Bagel sandwiches, dry toasted bagels, plain bagels-—every now and then (when my soon to be mother-in-law took pity on us and bought us cream cheese) bagels with cream cheese. You see, the local bagel shop donated their day old bagels to the local head start (where on of us worked) and we were allowed to have whatever breads the parents didn’t take (usually amounted to garbage bags full of bagels). We ate a lot of bagels.

Right because the only meaningful aspect of childbearing is the pain of birth. A person couldn’t possibly want to do it again for other reasons. Or ... prioritize those other reasons over the pain. ...

That’s a solid lesson in doing some minor troubleshooting before blaming someone else.

Was gonna say, to be fair, women’s clothes often don’t have pockets or have very tiny pockets.

Hmmmm. I do play and this doesn’t sound like the same game. Maybe I’m doing it wrong.

Yes! I remember our water company making an adjustment for us when that happened. Even set up a payment plan to help us manage the balance.
