Usually these receipts don't list a starting balance, only a balance after you've finished. I assume they had 500$ more before

The law requires employers to give 10 days annually, and only if they employee has worked for the company for at least 6 months, and works at least 10 hours a week on average, with a minimum of at least 1 hour each week OR 40 hours each month during the last six months.
So, no. If she were to return to her abusive relationship, or start a new one, she would not qualify for additional abuse leave.

When it said he found out where she worked, I was expecting some serious harassment. I was pleased to see that his choice was to instead one time interact with her at her place of employment in a way that is within the boundaries of her job description. Still can't say I approve, BUT I was pleasantly surprised.

Shaving can be beneficial when your goal is to be clean. No hair means no hair to need to wash blood out of. Yes, ingrown hairs can be a problem. It's just noteworthy that not everyone who shaves does so due to appeal.

Tldr: it is complicated, but generally abortion is allowed whenever the mother's life is in danger.
This makes sense actually. The idea that life begins with breathing has a biblical precedent. God literally breathes life into the first humans.

As cute of a sentiment as this is, being nervous and seeming nervous are two very different things. I know that I have gotten good at hiding my anxiety, including talking to people who make me nervous as if nothing is wrong.
And many people who work in my field have trained calm level responses to crisis. Its natural human reaction to either defend yourself (protect your face, leave) or fight back (either more violently or with body language even)when someone else is attacking you. Neither is a helpful response in calming a person down who has picked up a chair with intentions to beat someone with it. With trust built relationships and the training to stay calm and even, staff have talked down many a potential problem.
And when your day job is talking down people with mental illness from violence, staying calm in the face of a pretty stranger isn't very hard, even if you are anxious.
I know not everyone can do this, just maybe don't assume no one can.

I mean, no. Most people who break in to steal your TV are not willing to rape someone at knife point.
While I agree that providing criminals with a weapon and a mask are probably not a good decision. Suggesting that someone whose original plan was thievery would change their plan to include violent crime fundamentally misunderstands why thievery happens.

Nope. Bing was released in 2009. People just didn't know bing was terrible yet.
I had actually suspected that 2009 was the year bing first tried to pay people to use bing, but apparently Bing Rewards started in 2010 and had less impact on use than the original launch.

Well, the law isn't about the criminalization of domestic violence, so it won't effect if you will or won't go to jail. There are already laws which determine this, and you would still have to be found guilty in a court of law. No judge and jury in the world is going to send someone to jail for winning a game both parties consented to playing. The problem you would have is if your forced someone to play, and/or degraded them over their loss. (ie. "How stupid do are you; you're completely useless)
Emotional and Psychological abuse is serious, and definitely should be criminalized. Suggesting that beating someone at Fifa is an example of either belittles the real issue.

I do agree with the idea that donations should go to what is being suggested they will go towards.
However as an underpaid employee for a non profit organization, I can tell you with absolute certainty that the care our organization gives would be better if employees were paid better. Unfortunately our pay being low means most employees are people who struggled together a job elsewhere. I have a co worker with a chronic problem being late, who missed a shift without telling anyone last week, and who has been talked about with phrases like "I wouldn't count on [person's name] to do anything" And don't get me wrong, I like her. She is a nice person and her work issues are a combination of car troubles and mental health issues. However, the reason she still has a job isn't because the company is understanding. It's because its difficult to hire new people so they only fire people who are really bad at their job (ie. Abusing clients)

#the_grinch is right. Most of the middle is always empty, the small amount of fuild that fills the walls can hide in the lid part. You could tell by looking through the bottom of the bottle.

Sort of. Especially cheap or old remotes don't always hold the batteries exactly ideally. When you slep the remote you often jar the batteries into place, causing the remote to begin working again.

Atlantis will never get a remake because it didn't make enough money. The others got remakes in hopes to make more money.

Payphones are actually really uncommon nowadays. I assume @purplepumpkin does not have any in her [or his, I'm not 100% here] area.
Also, payphones are usually expensive to talk for any real duration. I assume @purplepumpkin doesn't have excess money to buy a new phone, probably doesn't want to spend money on a payphone either.

As for upgrading the brain, I personally recommend upgrading the brain so it is now capable of the magic bullshit that movies believe 90% of the brain does.

I think it's a cool dream @mrscollector I'm just not sure it fits the parameters of the post.
That being said, I want one of your love power to be a shield power that activates when you kiss someone on the forehead. And it protects them from everything for like eight hours or until you bring it down. It does make it harder to interact with the world, because they their shield prevents them from getting to close to anything, unless that thing was in the shield to begin with.

Google has an option that allows you to call regular phones from their services. It would come up werid on caller I'd, but so long as the person you want to call will answer it you can talk. They won't be able to call you back, but its something.

Sure, but I feel like it still can only directly effect 1 organ. Love gives you superpowers actually effects a lot of organs. I think the parameters are supposed to be like : I would upgrade my ears to have super hearing and extraordinary sense of balance. Or - I would upgrade my eyes, not only can I see with astonishing clarity for miles and miles, I also have therovision, x-ray vision, and can shoot lazors from my eyes. It's super fictional, but only effects 1 organ.
