Yes!! We used to watch it when it came on TV since most of it was still in Hindi! It was our favorite show! It was great and it had a lot of lessons! Pretty surprising for an Ekta Kapoor production!

I'm Indian and we call it "Mehndi Rasam" which translates to Mehndi Ceremony or just Mehndi for short. :)
Edit: The name could change depending on what kind of Indian you are. I'm Gujarati and that's what we call it and I know most other North Indians call it that, too. Is your aunt South Indian?

Yeah, the actual ceremony is called mehndi.

The longer you wait, the darker it turns, so most brides are already in their pjs when it's applied. To make doing things easier, we now scrape the actual mendhi part off after a few hours and soak our hands in lemon and sugar to make the color much darker (as its said that the darker it is, the more your husband loves you). But you can't wash it with water because once you do, it won't be getting any darker.

American history is compromised of thousands of fuck-ups and we learn them and acknowledge that they were huge fuck-ups. People keep thinking that we're all those redneck hillbillies that all Americans get portrayed as when in reality there's not many of them. You don't have to be so rude. I don't know where you went, but I'm taking AP US History and we always talk about how many Natives were killed and how unjust we were to them. And empress was talking about when Columbus came, and he came for the spanish. Spanish conquistadors killed and conquered hundred of thousands of natives. Plus, the Colombian exchange itself killed over 3/4 of the native population. I am, in no way, saying that Americans didn't kill natives because we did, for land, fear, and many other things and ways and I do admit that we killed hundreds of thousands, too. I'm just saying that the textbooks I read do say how many Indians have been killed.

I don't know where you're from or what you've been taught, because literally every American textbook always mentions the high amount of natives killed when Columbus came. And it wasn't just Americans who killed them, but many of the European countries.

Honestly, what the fuck are you on that your condoning alcohol usage? Alcohol contains ethanol, a DRUG and since when are drugs good for you? Especially at an increased intake? Do you even know how many deaths alcohol is responsible for annually? I fail to see how people who drink regularly a lot live longer than someone who works out and eats healthy every day. And let's say what you're saying is true, but your own body is trying to get rid of it by throwing up, it's taken as a poison, and all your body does is try to keep you alive! The fact that your brain is still developing is not irrelevant, alcohol and other drugs shape your brain, particularly by deteriorating it. I'm talking about the post making fun of us. Alcohol is bad for you, there's a reason there's a limit and an age you can have it at.

So? Alcohol is not good for you at any age. Why make fun of us for trying to push it back at least a little for those people who are law abiding? Even if all of that's true, the fact that the brain is still developing at 18 is also true, and more important of a fact.
