The s-word? On your Chinese Diseny server? It's more likely than you think 8 comments

while it will likely cause some kids to search up "boba's ship" instead of "slave 1," i have my doubts about it helping the issue at all
it will very likely lower the total amount of kids at risk of having a porn link shown in their search for specifically this lego item, however it will likely HEAVILY increase the chances that a kid that IS as risk of seeing a porn link in their search DOES get a porn link in their searches. That to my eye isnt fixing the issue, its making a the issue into a slightly different arguably equivalent issue

while their heart is likely in the right place, this seems like a not very well thought through plan.
If the reason they changed the lego slave 1 ship's set name away from that name is because kids were getting porn results in their google searches,
there are really 2 ways they could have done this
1. remove slave 1 from the title and such and have it strictly be "boba's ship"
2. remove slave 1 from just the title and product name but have slave 1 in the backend for google search results
logically both of these options make it more likely that a child gets porn sites in their first page of results as in the case of
1. the lego links are just fully gone, thinning the total amount of "reputable" links (which would include porn sites that dont have a bad rap with google,) thus making it far more likely a child sees a porn link since thats already a know issue
2. the lego links are prioritized lower than porn since lego has "slave" in backend tags but the porn will probably have titled

With physical copies retailers buy the disks and resell them. With digital copies the digital storefront doesn’t buy copies and resell them, they let the dev/publisher list the item and take a cut of every sale. Different beasts.
Physical copies tend to net the retailer about 25% profit.
For the first 10 million dollars in sales steam takes 30% of the profits and then drops it to 25% after that.
Even if we assume they make more profit off of digital goods than physical, they can’t have it sold for different base prices like that. Doing so would piss off the retailers. They’d see it as them being cheated, they buy a bunch of discs and then the company that sold them the discs goes and gives their customers a cheaper alternative to get the same content? They’d stop buying from them, or at minimum buy less and advertise other people’s products more, or in the case of more partnership style deals they might sue

yeaaaaaa, i never really got the breeding stuff myself.
i had to google how many egg groups there are, before doing that my knowledge of how breeding works in pokemon could be summed up as like
"a more obsessed friend once talked about egg groups and breeding only works within an egg group like 10-15 years ago and vaguely recall that there were a lot of things he said you needed to account for to get a good pokemon out of the egg"

pokemon breeding is a lootttttttttt more complicated than it needs to be.
there are 15 egg groups and everything within its own egg group can breed with anything else in its own egg group, then a lot lot lot lot of complicated rules and variables to keep track of that affect the end result.
All that to say, the "child" versions of the pokemon can breed with other pokemon in their own evolutionary line and other "similar-ish" pokemon

just to add, from the anecdotal cherokee tribal perspective, reasoning for why our equivalent of the police have a couple armored vehicles
1. they are used in the "joint drug task force" to keep our guys safe when dealing with such variety of organized crime, having something designed to actually take a bullet rather than be fast in a chase or efficient on patrol is necessary. Right tool for the right job, specifically the kind of job that the assisting paramedics are required to maintain at least as much firearm and self defense training as our marshals to be allowed to sign up for.
2. the thing they are used for most in any given year is search and rescue during flash flood events. An extremely heavy, sealed, tall wheeled in a relatively compact spacial profile is perfect for it, and they'll see more hours of that sorta usage than anything else.

Freely coming to the same, in this case absolutely indisputably correct, conclusion through the same means is still free thought

the question now
is horny jail a government entity or a for profit establishment? if its a government entity you can write to your horny senator to get it changed, if its a for profit establishment you may have to hire a horny lawyer

nothing, a jail called "horny jail" meant for the detention and suppression of "horny people" would have individual jail cells, probably not even able to see other cells. Effectively full solitary confinement.

a couple things about this
1. this is probably a REALLY old meme back from thot audit days which is like 3 years ago
2. chances are people make their living like this probably register a business the same way youtubers do. I'm not really sure where the idea that such people don't pay taxes comes from.

i had to look up the MGTOW stuff but what i found is uh, interesting
they seem to function as some sort of pseudo monastic order?
they've got levels.
level 1 is men that "see women for what they are" but still "take the risk"
level 2 is men that refuse to marry or live with women but will still date them
level 3 is men that refuse to date women and actively avoid any interaction with any women as much as is possible in any context.
level 4 is men that do the same as 3, avoid any interaction with women as much as possible, but also try to do the same with "the state" going as off the grid as possible, isolating from the government and society as a whole.

neither autozone nor radioshack made their own products, they are retailers.
Their service is reselling products they buy, as far as i know autozone doesnt even do mechanic work, they just sell vehicle stuff. The money they spent on this wouldnt have gone into anything the customers give a shit about. It's just a question of shareholders pockets or lawyers pockets.

how is a weapon that is commonly balanced into complete "unrealistic" levels of changes to make it not work at all at range so that its only useful if you get in the face of the enemy to do any meaningful damage catering to "cowards."
