I saw Split, then a friend told me it's a sequel (ish) to Unbreakable so I watched that, and now I'm really excited for Glass. I hope it's good, Shyamalan has had a not so good reputation recently.

I'm a woman and the only thing I'm mad about is that he's a console peasant.
(Don't get offended, I meant it as a joke. Am not actually one of the PC Master race nutjobs.)

Nah, I think the whole "women do this but men don't" is just self-fulfilling prophecy and confirmation bias. People of every gender do this.

That.... honestly just sounds like a joke. If it was real, the person in question would probably embellish and wouldn't mention he's a trustworthy guy who doesn't accept money.

Lol is the first guest the same person who's been saying that black people don't work on another post?
I wouldn't be surprised.

I'll stop making jokes and try to properly reason with you when you stop pulling stuff out of your ass.

My high school classmates once tried this with a shopping cart from a nearby supermarket. They wouldn't serve them though.

You're right about the institutionalized thing. I'm not a native speaker so I thought institutionalized meant "by law" and then I googled it and realized it actually means "by practice or custom". So I learned something! Yay!

When they open the door it's just gonna be a fish head with "FEET" written under it. Someone's gonna walk by and see this and be like "this is some surreal shit"

While the first person is framing it badly, the racial wealth gap is a thing in the US. Check out some articles on big American cities' history, for example LA still has huge problems because of past segregation. Basically the problem is that the segregation used to be racial and non-white areas were neglected, underserved, with no opportunities for growth. Institutionalized racism has since been mostly eradicated in itself, but these areas still remain poor, underserved, and with very little social mobility. So while this is more of a class problem than a racial one, race does play a role for historical reasons. Seriously, Google that stuff, I'm not very good at explaining (and it's also midnight where I live and I just had an exam today so I'm exhausted) so you'll probably get more clarity our of articles. I think I first stumbled upon this topic when I researched the history of LA and its Hispanic minority, maybe you'll even find the same articles I did back then.

While I agree with your general point and I get equally mad as you when someone assumes a good looking woman must always be a bimbo (while for some reason, the same dichotomy just doesn't apply to men apparently), there is an argument to be made that when you spend all your time taking care of your looks (working out, tanning, putting on makeup, dyeing hair, putting botox in your lips etc etc) then you logically have less time on education. I think that's what the meme is pointing out, rather than attractiveness it focuses on "fakeness". I'm not the author though so whether that was their intent or not is not my place to tell, I'm just guessing since the first frame looks fake and the last looks natural yet still good looking.
But yeah that assumption that a smart woman must be ugly and a pretty woman must be dumb needs to crawl into a bush and die.

The second one is so funny to me because whenever I look up tutorials on "quick and easy" updos the lady in the tutorial is always like "ok this is really quick it will *only* take you 20 minutes and you just need a few things like a hair curler, gel, teasing brush, 2000 bobby pins, hairspray, unicorn blood, fairy dust, the Hadron collider..."
Like, my idea of quick and easy is 5 minutes and needs an elastic and two bobby pins. But maybe it's because I'm the type to really not be bothered with hairdos most of the time.

Haha same. Tasting is key, you can follow the best recipe ever made just to discover the author has a completely different palate. Hell yeah, soup with croutons is amazing. Couscous in soup is also pretty great because it requires like zero preparation.
Well, thanks for mentioning the soup, it kinda inspired me to try to make it as well. Cheers!

That sounds so amazing. As a huge soup lover I'd love to try this. Do you have a specific recipe you use or is it more of a family recipe/eyeballing kind of thing?
Speaking of soup and roasting stuff, I've recently discovered one can improve a tomato soup by 1000% just with one roasted red pepper. I've been eating it almost non stop for the past two days. And yeah I put loads of garlic in it as well (duh who wouldn't)

"Just shut and deal with yours" is exactly the reason why there are still so many suicides, especially among men who are told that it's not 'manly' to ask for help regarding mental health issues. I think it's good that people are talking about this.

Hey, a SpongeBob reference is always a good gift. Maybe next year do the same except with the mocking SpongeBob meme.
