Its so worth the climb though

I don't know...we're in a golden age of TV, and I'm pretty happy that long form, serialized television is now the standard. I also don't think you have to be one or the other. I'm reading a pretty hefty book of WWII and catching up on some shows that I've missed. It is possible to be both.
