Brave New World.
According to humans, I was supposed to read this in school, but my schools sucked. Another book I'd suggest is 1984, but that's just a random suggestion based on what my wife bought me on Amazon around the same time. Still, both hold up to this very day.
"Why, it must be because you have no other purpose but to plague me. " (game of thrones) either that or " I ended up just picking out some flip flops so that I could have something to buy. " (the fault in our stars) either way these are both sounding like the way I don't want my relationship to go
'In the hour after I was murdered, as my mother made phone calls and my father began going door to door in the neighbourhood, mr Harvey had collapses the hole in the cornfield and carried away a sack filled with my body parts.'

First full sentence: "Jahns set her knitting aside and reluctantly reached for the folders."
First sentence, partially on page 44: "Marnes placed three manila folders on the cafeteria table and slid them toward her through the scattered crumbs and juice stains of last night's cleaning celebration."
-Wool, by Hugh Howey
The second one makes more sense, with the kid and all.
"He pushed the cart up under the trailer but the handle wouldn't clear." - The Road. Seems like my love life won't clear no matter how hard he pushes...
"No, ¡este elefante congelado de doce mil años no tiene nada de bonito!" The Spanish version of a book called "Decipher" in English by Stel Pavlou, the translation would be something close to "No, this twelve thousand year old frozen elephant has nothing of beautiful!" I have no idea if it's close enough or what, the best I could do.
I am unworthy of all the acts of kindness and faithfulness that you have performed for your servant: although I crossed the Jordan here with nothing but my staff, I have now grown into two camps. -the bible
Roughly translated: "That is no beast", Baigar shouted aghast and stared at the blood of the victims, that dripped from the surface, blades and claws and ran onto the stone floor.
THE FUCK
"He, in turn, did not look at her, did not see her delicate, freckled face, her red lips, her large sparkling green eyes, keeping his eyes closed tight as he strangled her, for he had only one concern - not to lose the least trace of her scent."
~ Perfume: the story of a murderer by Patrick Suskind
