this is so adorable and animal crossing is one of my favorite games ever, but her mother didn't send those presents. :( it's your character's "mother" who sends you presents as you progress in the game. the thought of that being the case is very sweet though and a nice memory!

You do know you have an in-game mom who sends you items frequently, right?
