Nah, you can still go. You just need to take precautions to guard yourself. One of the most effective is to smear Vegemite behind your ears, on your neck and in your armpits. Dropbears HATE the smell of Vegemite. It repels them like it was tear gas.

You could try forks in your hair, but those can be jostled loose when they hit your head. Now there's an even angrier Dropbear on your head... and he has your fork.
thanks for you great advice smitty. and I cant distinguish drop bears and Koalas, they're both look cute, except that one seem to always try to rip people' face off.
I've already got 6-8 inches here... it's still snowing and probably won't stop until sundown... Hope you didn't have to drive in it like I did.

How much where you are?
Move to Canada. You'd be surprised that it does get that hot here occasionally, but for maybe 2 or 3 months of the year. The rest is frigid cold and biting winds. Like seriously, -40C in my hometown at least once a week for the duration of winter. Frost bite and hypothermia instead of heat stroke and severe sun burns.
Texas heat is bad and the temps do get high but imo Florida heat is worse because not only do you have the heat but you also have the humidity which makes ot worse. Texas heat is scorching hot but its a dry heat
SAME! Holy crap my mum bought so many little fans just to put in a few rooms and they help in the most minuscule way UGH ah well this place is still beautiful though :D a couple days ago I got the worst sunburn on my back! Go up to like any person in a hot Australian city and you will most likely see they have a tan line from togs (swimmers)! Don't forget sadly Australia has the highest rate of skin cancer, tbh its so hard to avoid because it so hard to escape the sun unless you stay inside all the time!
I live in the NW of WA and it reached 51.5 degrees Celsius the other day. Went out side for a minute and honestly thought I was melting.
p.s. Happy Australia day to all you fellow Aussies out there!
I swear I am going to melt
