I thought I might throw it out there, but there's another term apart from femanazi, it's misandrist. It's the same meaning but it sounds smarter XD

misandrists are the opposite of misogynists (people who hate women who the femnazis are 'fighting'). They are the ones known as femnazis because they are radicals who hide behind the name of feminism similarly to how Isis hides behind Islam and WBC hides behind Christianity.
Most people get the difference between feminists and femnazis, we just like to all them femnazis to piss them off, sorry I mean 'trigger' them, even more. One is for equality (although I still think it needs a new name) and the other is to flip the tables and opress men

Feminazi is such a stupid term. It was created by that drugged out windbag Rush Limbaugh in the 90's as a way to deride feminists. The fact that so many people on this site use it as a legitimate term makes me worry.

The usage of the word has changed. It has now become a term for the radicals. We aren't calling anyone looking for equity (not equality there is a difference) a feminazi. The same way we aren't calling all Muslims terrorists. It's not being used to degrade the normal people but the extremists who need to stop calling themselves feminists because they arent

Adding the suffix Nazi to anything creates a whole world of issues. I think we as a society are far enough removed from the atrocities of WWII that many people are now more comfortable using the term to describe people. There is a term that correctly describes radical feminists, and that is radfem. Feminazi just has a certain ring to it and conjures up all sorts of horrible imagery. I'm sorry to be arguing, it's just that word really, really bugs me.

But the reality is that women and men are not equal. Women do things men cannot do and vice versa. If everyone was equally good at everything, we would be a totally homogenous world. And that's no good.

I think people mistake "equal" for "identical". People aren't identical and there's no reason they should be, but even so they can still have equal value, equal potential, equal rights and so on.

For me equality is not that there should be for example a 50/50 divide of the gender at a workplace, for me it is that one should not even consider gender when hiring, or deciding pay etc, it should all be based on performance. What I find wrong tho is something that they do here in Sweden, to be a firefighter you have to pass a couple of tests, the tests for women are "easier" with lighter weights etc. then a man. There should be no separation between the sexes here, just that the best person, man or woman, should be hired/accepted to the programme.

Opinion alert... My view is that men and women are not the same, but should he treated equally. Just because skmething is equal doesn't mean it's the same. An example, all employees should equally be allowed to take care of bodily functions in the workplace, meaning a nursing mother has the right to pump. While men are not given this same time away from the desk, they are still able to take care of their biological needs (bathrooms, eating, etc). Everyone is equal, but not the same. In fact, your clearly up the confusion.
You are a feminist, which I respect, after gender equality and to be treated just the same as men. But a feminazi is someone who demoralises men, insults, and even attack men to gain the dominant position.

All these comments have better opinions (and ways of phrasing them) then my entire school. also side note : a male can be a feminist. I consider myself a feminist but don't really call myself that. I kinda like the term "equalist" better but idk if that's a really term...if we want to be actually equal we shouldn't have "feminists" and "menimists" let's just have one umbrella term that just means we want everyone to be equal (equal doesn't mean identical btw)

Feminist: A woman should earn the same as a man for doing the same job.
Feminazi: The fact that women on average earn less than men on average is proof of discrimination, even though the averages include all jobs which are different between women and men.
