Larger populations are prone to disagreement, have different ideals, and take pride in or consider different things necessary.
Also, a large nation would not be capable of maintaining or establishing significant military, industrial, or corporate strength. Not without relying heavily on other nations, that is.
The person who posted this is a dumbass. along with all the other people who see free education in other country as an advantage. What does this mean? Free education means that you have to qualify. You don't get help from the government like we do instead you get it free... if you pass the really hard exams. Example, in France those who do not qualify must go to another country where they do qualify to study... the dumb portion of the population in the u.s wouldn't survive in an O ther country if we had that "free" system. Do your research before you post.
It's not hard to get in to universities in Denmark and Norway. Some courses, like medicine, are of course harder, but you can go to uni with basically any grades.
if we raised the minimum wage, the products prices would have to go up quite alot. you need self reliance, the government doesn't take care of you except in communism
Not necessarily, for example during one period the Swedish taxes were at 50%, yet today it's a thriving country with a pretty good welfare (taxes are still high, but it's working as long as the money go to the right place)
Don't forget, they're always only 350 miles from ANY beach & ocean around Europe. And they can ride the train to anywhere in Europe. My brother was there for 3 years in college. On his 3 day weekends, he'd pack a bag then go to sleep on a train. Where ever he woke up is where he had his "vacation." So I was always getting e-mails like "So, hey, I'm like in France right now. Here's a picture of something cool."
Hi! Person from Europe here! Trains are expensive. Most of us don't have the cash nor time to just randomly hop on a train and shack up in some random hotel on the coast of France. And you absolutely cannot take a train straight from Denmark to France. That shit requires a lot of planning.
