I got surprised when a guy started bagging my groceries when I was in the US

Not every store does it. The big names like Walmart do of course, but small time stores in small towns don't always.

I think without ever seeing american movies I would be sooo confused is someone touched my groceries

I got confused when I came to Europe and the niggah didnt bag my groceries like thats ya job son.

Whenever I'm in the US, I always start packing my own bags while my parents pay for the groceries, and every time I'm so confused when the guy/girl says "let me help you with that". I'm like, "oh no, I'll manage", forgetting each time that they are actually hired to do that.

We have it in the UK...They always ask if you want help with your packing of if you want to do it yourself. Sometimes there are Scout or Sports teams who do it to raise money for Charity too.

We have that in Bahrain, not sure about the rest of the gulf, meh.

Win co stores don't bad your groceries for you, but most places do.

Some stores do, in Romania

In my country, they also carry your bags to your car and load them into the trunk.

Ummm.... Every cashier does that here in Portugal.....

Finland does not have that system :/
