So Captain Hook is the good guy? He's trying to take revenge on Peter becuase he killed a bunch of people?!? Mind blown

Sort of.... it says that when they grow up Peter "thins them out". It's very vauge and unspecific, but nowhere does it mention that Captain Hook was an escapee.
