I read this statement and what immediately came to mind was that Robin Williams "Jumanji" screenshot where he's looking like a scruffed up caveman yelling "WHAT YEAR IS IT?" This is my brain's default whenever anybody mentions providing for a fully capable adult human as being somebody's responsibility, in any capacity.
"men are supposed to provide for thier(sic) women"
Not any more. Women lost that privilege when they decided they wanted equal rights.

I agree with the sentiment, though I wouldn't go so far as to consider complete reliance on somebody else a privilege. The only situations in which one partner should provide entirely for the other are 1) extenuating circumstance such as disability, injury, or job loss, or 2) it is an equal agreement by both parties that one partner will stay at home and take care of the house rather than bringing in an income. Otherwise, go get a job and contribute, even if you're making less. Also, these situations apply for all parties...if a woman's husband is hurt, disabled, or loses his job then she's expected to pull his weight until circumstances improve just like a husband is expected to pull hers in those cases. Don't go into a relationship looking to be "provided for," taking care of you is not anyone's responsibility by default.
Okay. Okay stop. And no men are supposed to provide for thier women. I mean wives, as a man what it means to be a man is stepping up and being able to provide for his lady and family if any. Its as simple as that.

Still not true. No man should have "be capable of being the provider" as a stipulation for "being a man" or having a family. More and more men are being stay at home dads, as is their right if they and their wives come to that agreement. A man who stays at home and gets the kids dressed for school, or even a man who has no children but stays at home because his wife can afford it, is no less a "man" than one who spends eight hours a day in an office. Men and women are equal, and that means men have an equal right to those sorts of relationship roles without being judged, if that's what works for that house.
They're not something that would threaten society, thus are not really an issue. They may be loud and obnoxious and annoying on the internet, sometimes even do "protests" on the streets, but it's not like they actually changed anything nor they're ever going to. They're not really a worrisome issue because nobody takes them seriously, and they brought it upon themselves by being fucking stupid and obnoxious.
@garlog
Why do you think so? I think many of these problems may result in a lot of mentally fucked up individuals, such as rape or abuse victims who are laughed at or children who have to live with a bitch mom instead of a good dad because she got custody "because she's a woman". Also, as to what concerns the alimony etc., these problems also have an economical impact on individuals and even companies.
Anyway, these problems have an impact on the mental health and economical situation of some individuals, and what is society if not a bunch of individuals?
And none of the 'non-issues' apply either. Score!

Nice try, feminazis.
No.
@ewqua
None of the things on that list "threaten society".
