The only 3D theater that has glasses that fit comfortably over my eyeglasses is IMAX. And the only times I have ever gone to IMAX is to see both Avengers movies opening weekend.
I haven't been to a theater in probably 7 years and I can't even remember what movie it was, except that it must have sucked because I fell asleep until the lights came back on. Don't matter now anyway since the only theater in my town closed two years ago because some dumb teen robbed it and killed the owner in the lobby.

I prefer regular movies over regualr movies though
Try the Martian. And on the off wierd chance Interstellar or Gravity come back into theaters, see those in 3D too.
.
Going forward, it is a good point of reference that any science literate space movie that's not just "generating buzz," but generating buzz in NASA and the Astronaut Corps, is a movie to be seen in 3D.
Go for the high score and see it in 3D IMAX.
