And a proper Percy Jackson movie. Sea of monsters is also a disgrace to actors, directors, the book series, and the entire cinematic industry as a whole.
The first one was alright but they did skip the fight with Mars which I thought would have been fun to see. But from a movie perspective it was alright.
And the movie storyline is the worst! Everything happen super fast and you don't get anything, it's like pof poff poff, the end credits. Then you have the books that you can sink in to and just absorb the amazing details, really get to know the characters and read and reread amazingly many times
I read the series 4 times, and every time I read it I read something that I had previously missed. There are just so many details, it's incredible! It's an amazing book, and incredibly written, especially when you take into account how old Paolini was when he wrote it.
Someone should make a proper ending to the tetralogy as well. I'm sorry, but that ending was really dissapointing.
And Arya was such an unrealistically overpowered character I just got annoyed whenever she appeared.
Murtagh was an awesome character though.
@guest yeah, I feel like Paolini was writing her scenes with one hand, if you know what I mean, because her character was just...I dunno, I didn't like her at all. She was like Miss Perfect, and the in end Paolini made her a fucking queen of the elves (which is understandable I guess because her mom was one) AND a dragon rider? I call bullshit. It's like Oprah giving away free dragons or something. I think Nasuada was a much better written character, because she was strong, but realistic.
@thehappywhovian Is it? I didn't know that. Well, good! Maybe this time the ending won't suck.
