guest, carson didn't really 'lie' about getting the scholarship to west point. someone offered him a sponsorship to go (which means they will pay for it) LIKE happens to most graduates of west point. so what if he rephrased it? who gives a crap? the media just LOVES to point out any bad part of every candidate, and that goes for everyone, whether it be hilary, trump, or rubio or whomever.
To anyone still reading this: Carson didnt lie about anything. Take a closer look at the headlines. EVERY headline/story was based on Carson's stories being "unconfirmed". EVERY story is holding him guilty until proven innocent. Since those stories broke, people involved in Carsons past have voiced confirmation of what he said. The Democratic party and media want so badly to make Carson look bad, but the only thing they can find "fault" with is his conservative views.
Sadly, that's the part of Sanders' platform that got out. His biggest push (of which marijuana is a part) is to try to wedge some of the government) out of corporate pockets.
His biggest push is for the working class! He is for righting the trickle-down effect which at the moment is ONLY the trickle-UP effect! A lot of successful people are BORN into it, they didn't earn it, and they're getting more and more tax exemptions, getting government handouts, seriously, Bernie Sanders knows what's up!
Murder is relative term. If you became pregnant at a young age with no way to care for the child or yourself, would you want to be forced to bare said child? Hey man, I'm gonna agree with "thatoneguy". Even if you can't afford to take care of the baby, you can still put it up for adoption. I just don't think that any child, born or unborn, should be denied the chance to live. And honestly, the "personhood" thing is kind of stupid. That isn't a very good definition. Personhood, in my opinion, means that you are a living, thinking being. I believe that from the moment you are conceived, you are a person, and no one can take your personhood away from you.
Ok, listen here. Half of women who have abortions were using safe sex methods. BOTH my dad and his brother were conceived while their parents were using condors and birth control.
phoenixsenshi, if a girl is raped and impregnated do you still think she should be made to have the baby, even if she gives it up for adoption after? you think she should spend 9 months against her will (if she's willing to carry the baby then obviously thats great but that can't always be the case) knowing she's carrying the child of her rapist? knowing that whilst the actual rape may be over, technically the rapist is still inside her, since they share DNA and every? do you think she should have to wake up every morning and relive the trauma and not be able to get over it because she's always aware that the father of her baby is her rapist?
Well, let me ask you this. If you had a child, would you love them any less if they were the product of rape? There are some circumstances where it may be difficult to go through with having the child, but do you honestly think any child should be denied the chance to live? I would hope that any girl who has to go through that receives love and support from all those around her, and that no one would force her to give up the baby.

I definitely agree that no one should be forced to give up a child if they want it, and also that they should get an ultrasound. I also think, though, that no one should be forced to keep a baby they don't want.
I think this issue seems split between those who value the mother's emotional state, and those who value the life of the baby. Neither of those should be neglected, but it seems that you can't have both. I feel I come from the side where I would hope that the joy that comes from having a child would overcome any emotional torment. However, I can still see the rationale behind never putting those emotions at risk in the first place. But I think we can both agree that anyone thinking about having an abortion should have a good, long think on the matter, and not just immediately decide the baby needs to go.

It is genetically a human, but it doesn't start to have any mental capacity until about the third trimester. Again, I may be wrong so don't take my word for it. I am pro choice in that it is a choice. And it's not like there aren't other pregnant women out there that want to definitely keep there children, because there are more of those than women that want abortions. In the end, women have the choice to keep their bodies the way they want them. We should respect their choice like how we respect the choice to not take organs from non-organ donors or religious reasons to not perform an autopsy

On behalf of a friend of mine that works at planned parenthood, it's called that for a reason. Plan ahead with your pregnancy, or plan to prevent pregnancy. Abortion is only one part of a whole that helps many women with how to work with their situations
Morally Bernie sanders had the publics best interest. Regaurdless what you believe, the president is a public servant, atleast he's supposed to be. Yes he's still a democrat so no he's not going to be pro anything republican, but the man has heart. His only true downside is that he doesn't have much in the terms of economic policy which is kinda scary
