Don't worry, I have a feeling no one really knows how to adult, some are just better at pretending. As long as you have a roof over your head and food to eat you're doing awesome. Now go buy candy and nerf guns.
24 here, still feel the same! The point I've come to is that everyone is just themselves, and 'becoming an adult' is literally just putting out the effort to commit to the responsibilities in our lives. That's it. Not doing it perfectly, just putting out effort.
I'm 24 and trust me their is no such thing as growing up, or being 'an adult'. I just spent last night with 3 friends (38 years old, 26 years old, 31 years old) two of whom have kids. And we were playing make believe dungeons and fucking dragons. We're only adults when we have to be in a position of maturity. After that we can be kids until the grave,
I'm younger than you and I think myself far too jaded for the world. The best advice I've heard is that one should never grow up, even when they grow old. Never lose your childlike sense of wonder.
Then remembered that I'm 39.
