I'm not an anti vaxxer or anything but I'm curious as to why people who are vaccinated are still getting sick. There was one case where something spread and all the kids involved were vaccinated. I completely agree with getting vaccinated; it's helped us advance a lot. My point is that it seems more along the lines of this: over time, we've become more and more hygienic and had better access to good food (not malnourished means good immune system), but recently, things have been going in reverse because we're getting worse and worse with our health/eating habits (therefore getting a bad immune system to fight these things).
Just an idea/my personal opinion <3 please don't hate me if you disagree ^w^
Because a vaccine isn't 100% effective. The way your immune system works is it helps prevent you from getting illnesses that you have had, but the vaccine helps you become immune to it by not having to have the illness.
Unfortunately, illnesses can mutate ( that's why we have to get different flu shots each year, it mutates and becomea immune to the vaccine )
So in cases where even one kid doesn't get vaccinated, it gives it the ability to mutate and become immune, putting others who were vaccinated at risk. And even though kids in some of the control groups may have all been vaccinated, they could have come into contact with kids who weren't at other times.
Sorry if I don't explain this well.
its just human nature to associate familiarity with trustworthiness.. you know and love that celeb so you trust them, which is extra problematic because they are not really LYING so the trust isn't misplaced, the problem is they are just WRONG about the facts, and no one knows joe schmoe Dr. so they believe the celeb they adore.
i honestly have no idea. i do believe that as people vaccinate less and less there will a big outbreak of dead children which will fix this particular issue, but i do not wish it to happen that way, it simply is how it appears it is going to be. like i used to think it wasn't a big deal that some vaccines are not given till a kid is over a year old but now that this is happening while i am preparing to have a child i am terrified of having to go back to work and send a baby to a daycare without all the vaccines because these diseases are legit being passed around now.
i just don't understand how there are not enough unvaccinated kids with autism by now to at least slay that one pervasive myth. or do they just attribute it to like, lingering vaccines in the parents blood or something?
Not to mention the fact that, as far as side-effects go, autism (generally; there is of course a high end on the spectrum) is far from the worst trade-off that vaccines could have, even if there WAS a connection between the two that isn't entirely fraudulent.
i just don't get it. if i were a parent, presented with a choice between chances of my kid getting autism and chances of my kid dying from a preventable super-scary disease....well, that's not much of a tough choice, is it? whatever happens after vaccinating, at least it isn't on you. it's bad luck or whatever (and the chances are bigger that the kid will get runned over by a drunk driver anyways). how do they suppose to live with themselves if their non-vaccinated kid, say, (god forbid) dies of pertussis? how do you risk a thing like that?
I find this offensive! Shame on you Pinterest for even taking part in this hostile debate and allowing only posts from one perspective . Is there nowhere on social media we can get a break from this! I thought Pinterest was about sharing talents and skills not supporting further segregation in society !
actually when someone does something that harms children, thats the one time you are allowed to butt in. plus it puts everyones children at higher risk because vaccines are only 100% effective when everyone has them.
Yep, they are destroying what is called herd immunity which is what allows the people that are too young, to old, or have a disorder where they can't take vaccines. But with these idiots refusing vaccines they are putting those that CAN'T get vaccinated at all.
