To be fair, men's clothing doesn't have that many alternatives for certain age groups. There's half a dozen shades of tan, a few denim shorts and basic shirts... Unless people are willing to go outside of the easiest and most 'fashionable' places to shop, they're not going to have too many alternatives. This is just ridiculous though
I always thought this was a photo of a group of school students. So the dress code is the reason they are dressed the same

I thought so too, but there are girls in that image wearing jeans and I don't know of any dress codes calling for loafers without socks. Or are some of those boat shoes?
No im gona debunk that, that is exclusively the fraty look they may say or think they are country but they are not. The "classy redneck" look is boots and jeans a kind of dark jacket with long shaggy hair and a hat. But they all have one thing in common they dress this way to fit in to get invited to parties and meet girls and drink cheep beer.
This is certainly not exclusively the fratty look. I was in a fraternity and many men that we unaffiliated were also in similar things. Guys in fraternities also wore what you described as "classy redneck".
I dress this way because this was how my parents dressed me growing up. And, for what it's worth, I don't drink beer.

that was sarcasm. just asking a stupid question like men like to do here about pics of women "can a feeeeeemaaaaallle explain?" like they're to dumb to see what's going on.
In the eyes of many young men this clothing style symbolizes popularity wealth therfore they feel like they fit in with a community and they also feel like it gets girls attention because they think young girls like them for their friends and social standing
