We all have that one friend

Friends from uni gave me a nickname as soon as I got here. Now it sounds weird saying my real name up here, except when I'm back in my home city.

I have a friend who wears a Mario Hat all the fucking time, So I call him "Mario" all the time. I only say his real name, Zack, when it's serious or when I'm introducing other people.

My friend Phoenix's real name is Lauren. I've known him for 3 years aand I never knew, till he told me. Teachers called him Phoenix too. It was the weirdest this, when I heard his real name.

I HATE IT when my husband calls me by my real name. 99% of the time he uses a cute name, and it sounds so weird when I hear my name out of no where!

I was always Art or Ardy. Now that I switched schools, I cringe at my own name.

I had a friend like that. His nickname was Nexus. I didn't know his real name for three years. Felt weird to call him Max when he told me his real name.

One of my coworkers sometimes forgets my actual name because one coworker gave me the nickname Becky. And so between us we each have our own little nickname

Just about all the people I know call me Kass(friends) or Sinda(Family) and so now it's weird when I hear my actual name

I have a friend whose first name is Adrian but we call him with his last name which is Dago-oc.

This one guy I know, everyone calls him Bubbles, cause he talks and acts like Bubbles form the Trailer Park Boys. When he added me on favebook the first time I didn't accept it cause I didn't know his real name. and I've known him for two years, and I have never heard anyone call him by his real name, even adults call him Bubbles.

I have a friend at school who came as a new student at our school last year, who's real fully name is Thomas Hunter, and he just went by hunter, but in our drama class we forgot his name so one guy just started calling him Scotty. And he has been called Scotty at school ever since, and most people just thought his actually name is Scotty.
But the full list of nicknames he responds to now is- Scotty, Unter, Scottster, Scotty the milk man, huntsman, and many more. But no one calls him Thomas

There is a girl in my class, her name is Juliette but it's pronounced as Jeeliette. We all call her Juliette. Some don't even know it's pronounced as Jeeliette.
