But the everyday low prices!

Yeah, the only real option is to either get drab bras at a decent price or spend 40-50 for pretty bras.

not necessarily. some stores like la vie en rose and lasenza have deals for 2 bras for 20$

Unfortunately, they carry neither my band size nor cup size, that I've been able to find.

I can tell you without going to that site, that if the bra is 2 for 20, it is NOT in my size.

even outside of walmart, the ratio of pretty to drab changes dramatically with going up in sizes, plus other weird shit like lack of attempt to put the boobs into a favorable position and whatnot, even if you go to a line of pretty bras in a specific style, at around 40 and/or D/DD suddenly the padding is gone, but the size is measured from outside so the boob drops in the cup creating a weird sizing gap where you're too big for the padded version and too small for the unpadded version, and even once you're large enough to fill the cup right the style that was designed to hold hte boobs up pert instead simply... keeps them from your knees. long story short even at stores where bras tend to be around 40 bucks a pop you are hard pressed to get a pretty one that also supports your chest properly and attractively. every time i have to go get new bras its a nightmare because i am right in that weird area where padded to small unpadded too large

theres a chance that this emotional preggo was JUST out trying to find a damn bra that fit right and cost less than 20 bucks for her rapidly changing chest and stumbled on this thread just in time for a rant. and was possibly dehydrated because the ONE i found that fit good is now too tight like wtf.

Think about it they have to make the small bras look so colorful because there is nothing to look at, however when you are big chested you know you are already fabulous

Yeah, but once you get to DD or past your options are "pay Lane Bryant prices or buy bland bras." Unless, of course, you object to constantly being stabbed by badly-placed boning, in which case your option is "pay Lane Bryant prices AND buy bland bras."

It's so hard to find a 30 or a 32D tho i usually just get 34s or 36s and sew em to my size

My roommates were always making fun of me because I would always complain that one bra stabbed me and one was too small. They kept saying "Buy a new one!" And I was like, "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! THIS IS AN $80 INVESTMENT! WHY DO YOU THINK I ONLY HAVE 2!?"

I have 7 which only 1 fits me its getting too small so im either about to have to choose between a phone payment or a bra lol

B tempted is actually a really good brand for DD, but not for plus size. What's hard is when your band size is tiny but your boobs aren't. 32DDD? Oh look, that's DDD! ..... It's 40

random_kitty

harmonywho

Oh no, but that is my sister size. 32DDD, 34DD, 36D. My back does hurt a lot, especially on my period

I'm a 34 DDD. I feel your pain.

Try being a DD and getting pregers those suckered get even BIGGER! Finding a nursing bra in that size I think not.

Or just on birth control pills. Since they basically say "hey, you're pregnant, don't send eggs" they can make the ladies bigger

Got small/medium-sized boobs, and let me tell you it's more of a bitch this way (just like being petite) because there are never any of the cool ones in your size. Of like anything. Ever.

At least they exist. The "cool" bras may be sold out in your size, but they don't even make pretty bras in the larger sizes. When they're that expensive, we don't have time for rainbow colors, we get white, nude, or black. I mean, I can definitely understand your situation being annoying, but at least you have a chance.

Also once you get past C, push up bras become extinct. It's not that I want a push up bra, I just think it's better than the "minimizer" alternative.

Worse when you have a small band and larger cup. Literally 2 bras in the entire store that are in your size.

Someone who feels the pain! 34DD sucks
harmonywho

That is when I thank the lord for sister sizes. 32DDD, 34DD, 36D. I'd recommend 36D

Torrid makes some cute larger bras, but not if you're small band size/large cup size like me. They start at 38 :(

Cute. Try being a 32 F/G.

It's not smart to assume you have the most awkward bra size in these comments, dear.

I meant that they only carry size 38 and up, not that 38 is my size.

I get that society's attractiveness standards can place an unfair emphasis on chest material, but who the hell is jealous of someone who has to reach around themselves to get anything done and hasn't seen their feet since age ten?

Go to Kohl's. They're pretty cheap, especially during their sales, and most of their bras are "cute". Actually, at the Kohl's near me, they have more cute bras in bigger sizes than they do in small. So, yea, I suggest Kohl's.

Those small bras aren't for boobs like mine, they look like I haven't even gone through puberty! You don't know the struggle of buying bras at the kids section.. FML ≧∇≦

I know all too well. I went from a B cup to almost a D after pregnancy, lost all of them and now I have a hard time finding a bra to fit.

I've been reading these comments and I've been both small cup, b, and large, dd. I can honestly say that small is so much better. At 18 I got a breast reduction. I could run without falling down. It was awesome. The problem was that I wasn't done growing and I got back up to a d. I can't imaging how bad it would be if I never got the reduction done. Insurance covered a lot of it because of the back pain issues. That being said; the prettiest bra I have now is pink. I used to buy all the pretty ones back when I was a b but they don't have them now. One time my mom took me to an "exclusive" bra store and spent $100 on a pretty bra. Not worth it. Small is better!!!!!

... Confused b cup here. Why the hell do yall all want super pretty bras anyway? It shows through shirts and is irritating in my opinion. All the bras I've bought since 14 have just been brown, black, white, basic colors

Even the big bras, if it's not made correctly meaning not cheap the underwire pops right out and starts stabbing the shit out of my boobs. I always bite the bullet and go to specific bra store where they measure me, that way it last longer and they have the DD to E size for me.

hmm even the pretty ones for smaller chests are more expensive. And boo to the comments putting smaller chested women down. "there's nothing to look at" "its to compensate." oh hush. We're all beautiful in our own way,
