Thats not actual size. The .45 exit wound is small that the actual bullet size. This is only usefull for comparison. Also there are so many factors that determine wound size. I would explain but chances are yall don't give a fuck anyway.
Ok since you asked ill just list a few examples of what determines exit wound aside from calliber.
Distance
Propellant
With metal jacet or no jacket
Hollow point or nah
Angle of impact
Soft tissue or bone
And most importantly
The firearm used. A pistol makes an entirely different wound than a rifle.
Yes gatsby thats another good one. Also guest i know alot of police use hollow points so there is no danger of the bullet passing through and hitting someone
The 45, for the most part, does not often over penetrate due to its size and the fact it is subsonic in all but the highest wildcat loads. This not only means a relatively safer round for bystanders, but the bullet stays in the target where it can do the most damage. In fact, when I went through police academy several years ago we were told that the 45 ACP is the (quote, unquote) "safest" round for use aboard aircraft because it absolutely will not penetrate the hulls of commercial airliners.
Oh i love .45s in almost all shapes and forms. If given the choice id take a M1911 over any glock or the berreta 9mm. Though a glock 17 is pretty good.
I have to say, this is my favorite string of comments ever. All we need now is a thread on gun safety and why you shouldn't follow drunk guys with rifles.
Since you asked. Basic gun safty consists of safty is on at all times period unless you are taking a shot. Barrel is either pointed at the ground or something you mean to kill. And last but not least always check for a round in the chamber. Oh and watch your trigger finger. Did i forget anything?
I feel safer already! I feel like you should print out pamphlets and we should distribute them amongst the uninformed. Because there are adults out there that still think guns are toys and because of that, I was taught gun safety before I'd finished losing teeth because my folks didn't want one of those idiots in their house. XD
You forgot "clear the fucking gun before you try to clean it!" You'd think that would be a given, but we have had a lot of jackasses shoot themselves or someone else while cleaning their guns in my area. I guess you can call it natural selection!
