After seeing the ending I replayed the episode and stopped it right after Ted said "and that's how I met your mother". Then I showed my husband and friends and told them not to watch past that haha

I liked how it ended. I know I am the only one. But everyone had what they wanted. And the wife, it is sad, but please we were not as invested emotionally as with robyn. And it gave a point to the show. Kids got to know why he was getting with aunt robyn.

It makes perfect sense right off the hop. Why else would the mother not be there while he's telling the story?
